Wrap Up
This year has felt simultaneously multiple years long, and also like the blink of an eye. So much has happened in my life, career and personal, that I couldn’t have anticipated and I have learned so much.
I want to thank all of you here on this journey. Your support for my books and writing is so, so appreciated, and I love the ways that we’re able to connect and chat. Hearing your thoughts on the characters’ story lines, how you’ve related to them, and what you hope to see next has been rewarding and exciting. And the friendships we’ve made this year have been crucial to my mental health when it comes to writing in a really trying year.
I have huge publishing plans for 2026. Big picture: I’m hoping to publish four novels, two novellas, and a short story. This year I managed two novels and two short stories, so this is a pretty big jump. That said, I’ve realized that my ADHD brain really is time blind, no matter how hard I try! So I’m going into 2026 with the understanding that there’s a very good chance I won’t hit every publishing milestone I’m hoping for, but for me, it’s also vital that I enjoy time with my young family and release the stress I put on myself to hit arbitrary dates.
It’s countdown time!
As we wind down to the end of the year, many are looking ahead to what 2026 holds. If you’re getting a late start on goals, like I am, or if you just want to chat about what you’re manifesting for next year, join me tonight on TikTok Live for a goal setting session. I mentioned big picture items above, but aside from that, I’m hoping to map out the year in a much more functional way for myself, including home life. So don’t worry if what you want to focus on isn’t bookish related. I’d still love to have you join me.
I’m not the master of this, but I’m focusing on SMART goals for 2026, and maybe a couple of delulu goals because it’s important to dream!

Bookish Spotlights
Play Your Part
I don’t know about you, but aside from holiday romances, it certainly feels like we are right in the middle of hockey romance season! It’s a great time to jump into Kathryn Kincaid’s Play Your Part, book one of her All In series.
A Gold Medal In Love
Speaking of wintry reads, Alex La Bruyere’s A Gold Medal In Love, releasing in February is a great option, especially for lovers of the Olympics. As part of the Love On The Podium series, it’s perfect for lovers of sapphic romances, diverse reads, own voices, and hockey/figure skating lovers. This five book, queer romance series will begin releasing at the end of January.
