It’s beginning to look a lot like….summer?
So the first official day of winter is Saturday and here in Texas (Austin area) it’s supposed to be 80! What?! Eighty would actually be mild for summer here, but I think you get the point that it’s not feeling very festive right now! At least for the US, haha.
Speaking of the weather forecast, yesterday I took my two oldest for a tour of the local news stations with our homeschool group (we mainly meet for field trips). I’m pretty sure the parents got just as much enjoyment from the trip as the kids.
I think my weather loving girl would be an AMAZING meteorologist, but she’s not on board with all of the math and science required haha!
Goodbye, META
So if you missed it on TikTok, META has officially disabled my accounts. If you’ve been here for a bit, then you know they suspended my accounts about two months ago. The accusation was wild, but I was able to appeal and gain access to everything once more. This time, same accusation, even less founded than before. I appealed and received an email the following day that after reviewing my appeal, my accounts did not follow community guidelines and they are permanently disabling them. No person to contact, no way to appeal again.
The entire situation is exhausting, because I work across all of the platforms to reach different readers, authors, bookish businesses and creators, etc. But here’s where we are. I will continue to share to TikTok. I do also have a Discord server which I am slowly building. Myself and other authors share ARC opportunities and have various channels.

Untamed is going to BETA readers as soon as I complete the current edits. I’m a little behind (this is where they say: surprise, surprise) but getting close!
